Internationalisation; international entrepreneurship; R&D; sustainability and digitalization within maritime industry
MA and M.Sc. (Economics and Business Administration) Elisa Aro works at Finland Futures Research Centre in various R&D projects, currently especially in projects related to the maritime industry, but also within other industries.
She has several years’ experience at the University of Turku from projects that focused on making global maritime processes more sustainable by digitalising them.
Prior to University of Turku, she worked within international business and marketing in several organisations in Finland and Spain.
Elisa's main interests focus on the internationalisation of enterprises, international entrepreneurship and R&D management of enterprises with a special emphasis on sustainability and digital transformation.
