Biography

I graduated in 2014 from the department of geography and geology in University of Turku. I did my bachelors thesis on applied drama workshops as a method for participatory urban planning. My master's thesis was about participation in a carbon offsetting tree planting project in Himachal Pradesh, India. Now I am doing my phd.



Research

I’m a phd candidate, studying customary laws related to forests among indigenous
communities in Central India; the knowledge creation processes and various human/non-human encounters in the nomospheres of the
community forests.



Teaching

I have taught a course on livelihood security in the himalayas, as well as some lectures in Development and geography -courses. Also some methodology teaching about doing content analysis with NVivo software.
