Research
My research focus on developing innovative, intelligent, state-of-the-art clinical information and language technology solutions tailored for medical data. I have a special emphasis on the free-text narratives in electronic health records. A central focus of my research is in utilizing language technology to support health care workers in managing the textual data in electronic health records. The aim is to help health care workers to save time, effort and resources, as well as to improve care quality and safety.
