Areas of expertise
My current work comprises protein expression, purification, mutagenesis, and functional characterizations including enzyme kinetics and nucleotide binding measurements.

Research
Expertise in biochemistry, enzyme/protein chemistry, molecular and cell biology obtained during my studies and in the three research groups I have been working. In addition to my Ph.D. thesis work dealing with human integrin receptors, I have been involved in two other biochemical research projects at the Department of Biochemistry and Food Chemistry (University of Turku). The first one dealt with biosensors and the second one the kinetics and reaction mechanism of yeast exopolyphosphatase.
