Biography

MSc. Jarko Papalitsas is a project researcher in software engineering (since 2017, started as a research assistant). He received his MSc in 2018 (Computer Science) and made four publications along with it. His research interests are related to software engineering, especially in learning management systems and security which reflects his research that is focused mainly on honeypots and fake service generation. Papalitsas is active in several working groups and courses held in University of Turku.



Research

Research interests are related broadly to software engineering, especially in learning management systems and software security.



Teaching

Currently the main teaching responsibilities are related to instructing MSc/BSc theses and bachelor level courses

  • Distributed software systems (Most of the English instance and part of the Finnish instance)
  • System and application security (lecture on vulnerabilities in context of web security)
  • Web and mobile programming (partly)
  • Programming basics with JavaScript
  • User Interfaces (partly)
