Received an undergraduate Master's degree in theoretical physics under Pieter Kok at the University of Sheffield before completing a PhD in Mathematics under Paul Busch at the University of York. 

Often seen juggling around the university or solving puzzle cubes.


I study incompatibility within quantum theory, in terms of observables, channels and the resulting uncertainty relations that arise. I am also interested in general probabilistic theories (GPTs).
