Biography



Currently, I am working as a project researcher in
an international research project PROCOMPNurse, funded by the Academy of
Finland (310145, 28 April 2017). I am a doctoral candidate in the Doctoral
Programme of Nursing Science. I have completed in years 2015–2017 the
European Academy of Nursing Science (EANS) Summer School for doctoral
candidates. I am coordinating the international CLES+T research network and I
am a member of the RENE research group at the Department of Nursing Science. I
have 12-years of work experience as a nurse teacher at the university of applied sciences and
also teaching experience at university level. I have been working as a research
assistant in a research project funded by the European Union, Ethical Codes in
Nursing: European Perspectives on Content and Functioning (2002 - 2003) at the
Department of Nursing Science. My background is in the private health care
sector as a registered nurse.

Student – teacher cooperation during the clinical
practicum, clinical learning environment, professional competence of nursing
students and in the transition period, health care student self-efficacy,
mobile technology in health care education.

Didactics in Nursing Science:  teacher training
