Objectives

The Poultry-check project is going to:

  1. Develop a range of high-throughput, multi-residue (measurement of at least four coccidiostat residues) and user-friendly screening tests based on time-resolved fluoroimmunoassay.
  2. Develop chemical confirmatory methods to support the screening assay development programme. These methods will be based on LC-MS and/or GC-MS.
  3. To validate the assays using criteria laid down in the annex to EC directive 96/23/EEC.
  4. Organise Technology Transfer events for the appropriate end-users of the methods.
